Cybersecurity is more than just protecting data, it is about protecting people. Childfinder is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to help locate missing and sexually exploited children. Through rapid and accurate facial recognition, investigators are able to match pictures of missing children to those appearing in dark-web global sex-trade advertisements.

The AI system can take into account age differences, from the time they went missing, hair style changes, and makeup when matching images. It is an important first step to save these children and shut down this despicable activity. Childfinder is a great example of next-generation tech making a real difference in people’s lives and future.

Initiatives and innovation like this make me proud to work for Intel.
